A technique used by many successful people is called modeling. In order to model success you must find someone that has had success in their field. After that you must study that persons every move. What you are trying to do is get into this persons mind so that you can figure out what makes them so successful. Most people that perform a task very well do so because they have mastered a strategy that works for them. They repeat processes and task over and over again until they can perform the task without even thinking about it . You want to find out what strategy they are using so that you can use the same strategy to help you become successful too.

After you have studied a successful person or top performer you then try to model (replicate) that success by doing exactly what they did to accomplish the level of success that they have achieved . If they studied a subject three hours each morning for three years in role, you would do the same . If the person you are studying believed that nothing could stop them from achieving success, you should think the same. Not only think it, but believe it as strongly as they do. Your mission is to think like they think, do what they have done in order to succeed. You should lose yourself in their actions and thoughts. Allow yourself to escape your world and enter into that persons world. You will need to understand their beliefs about success and why it is they think that way. After that you adapt their beliefs about success as your own.
