Google Adsense as hit the scene like something from another planet. All across the web in discussion boards, blogs, and social media sites, people are talking. But there as to be a downside to making money with Google AdSense? I would not call it a downside. In fact, if you know what to expect you can actually turn those problems into a upside. If you want to make money with Google here is what you should consider before you even think about going on this journey?
First, keywords are so important to your success.
Yes, keywords are what drives visitors to your site, which is why the popularity and profitability of the keyword must be examined thoroughly before you decide to go after it. I am sure that you can see how this can become tricky when trying to make money with Google Adsense. So for example, you might target a keyword that has a lot of demand but is not going to be too profitable.
So what some do is target the word anyway. They simply create a page for that keyword. Once the visitor is on that page the webmaster must try to get them to click a link that will redirect them to one of the more profitable pages. Site navigation is essential to your success as well. Not only are you trying to get visitors to find there way to your profitable pages, you are also trying to structure your content in away that encourages the reader to click the ads, the catch is that you can’t openly tell them to click the ad. If Google Catches you doing that your account could get shut down. Another key to making money with Google Adsense is to create a site that ranks well in the search engines.
No matter which niche you choose there’s going to be plenty of competitors ahead of you. It’s going to take time to catch up to them. Until then your site is going to be losing money because of the competition. The ideal situation would be to own a website that ranks well for hundreds of keywords. That means your site shows up on the first page of Google for a bunch of keywords. So the point is that you must prepare yourself to compete for traffic if you want to make money with Adsense or make money online in general.
Honestly, you are going to need tons of traffic, not just a few hundred visitors a day. Everything starts with targeting the right keywords. The problem is that it is going to take you some time to figure out which keywords are going to convert readers into clickers.
Besides traffic and analyzing everything, there is always the chance that you might pick a niche that is just not profitable when it comes to making money with Google Adsense. Now, most importantly you have to build a nice theme based site, one that focuses in on a specific subject, one that delivers the best content about that subject.
That is one of the keys to making money with Google AdSense. You see, if your site goes off topic, meaning you start creating and submitting pages that cover a wide range of topics, you will end up receiving traffic from all over the place. None of which is going to find the Google ads interesting. To avoid this you should create a keyword list for your site before you actually start building it. That blueprint should help you stay on course and help your site remain focused on it’s subject. I too like websites that cover many different topics, but in terms of business creating a site like that can be a costly mistake.
